Curt Thompson, MD
Dr. Curt Thompson is the Medical Director of New Story Behavioral Health in Falls Church, VA. He provides psychiatric care and individual and group psychotherapy. Curt brings together his knowledge of interpersonal neurobiology (IPNB) and Biblical Truths to aid in understanding the value of authentic relationships and experience healthier, more purposeful lives.When he isn’t caring for patients, he is writing, podcasting, and speaking to groups around the world. He has authored three books; The Anatomy of the Soul, The Soul of Shame and The Soul of Desire.
James Forsyth
James is the Senior Pastor of Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church in Knoxville, TN. He grew up in Edinburgh, Scotland, where he graduated from the University of Edinburgh, before moving to the U.S. to study at Reformed Theological Seminary, Jackson. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Rosie, and together they have four children. Throughout his formative years, God’s grace has been the theme—a theme that now animates his life, family and ministry.
Diane Langberg, Ph.D
Dr. Diane Langberg is globally recognized for her 50 years of clinical work with trauma victims. She has trained caregivers on six continents in responding to trauma and to the abuse of power. For 29 years, she directed her own practice in Jenkintown PA, Diane Langberg PhD, and Associates. Dr. Langberg has authored many books. Her newest book is Redeeming Power: Understanding Authority and Abuse in the Church. Dr. Langberg is the recipient of the Distinguished Alumna Achievements from Taylor University, the American Association of Christian Counselors Caregiver Award, The Distinguished President’s award, and the Philadelphia Council of Clergy’s Christian Service Award.
Ritchie Johnson
Ritchie Johnson is the Lead Pastor and Director of Biblical Guidance for The Chapel in Cleveland, TN. He is a husband of almost 24 years, a father of 5, and an avid Georgia Bulldog fan. Ritchie believes in the local Church, led by the authority of God’s Word and in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Dr. Evan Marbury
Evan is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in North Carolina and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. After studying Psychology at University of Missouri-Columbia, he went on to graduate from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, MO, with a Master of Divinity and a Master of Arts in Counseling. He also earned a Doctor of Ministry in Counseling from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Evan also serves as a pastor of Christ Central Church in Durham, NC.
Chaplain Grant Lowe
Grant has served as Chaplain at Covenant College, Lookout Mountain, GA since 2013 and is an ordained teaching elder in the PCA. His call to Covenant follows thirteen years of pastoral ministry in Pasadena, CA and Peabody, MA. Grant graduated from the University of Kansas with a B.A. in English literature and received his M.Div. from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Sandi, who is also a University of Kansas graduate and holds an M.A. in church history from Gordon-Conwell, have two daughters.
Courtney Caroland
Courtney Caroland lives in Chattanooga, TN with her husband Todd. Courtney served as the Youth Director at Rock Creek Fellowship for 7 years while completing her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Richmont Graduate University. Courtney works at the Christian Counselor Cooperative, as part of the Elbow Tree Group.

Dr. Scott Jones joined the faculty of Covenant College in 2005. He has a B. A. In English literature from the University of Mississippi and a Master of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, FL. Additionally he holds a Ph.D in Old Testament Languages from Princeton Theological Seminary. After graduate school, he has twice been a research fellow at the University of Göttingen in Germany, where he wrote on wisdom in the Book of Psalms. Professor Jones is married to his wife, Jessica, and together they have three children.
